Summer Reading Guest Presenters!
Check out the incredible guest presenters we have lined up for the rest of the summer!
 
CTR Changing Lives: Meet Buttons the Shetland Pony and learn all about adaptive riding lessons and equine therapy with fun, ground-based activities (there is no riding involved).
 
Mr. Jon and Friends: Mr. Jon and his silly friend George the Monkey will have you laughing and dancing along. Using rhymes, songs, books, and puppets, this interactive musical comedy show is a performance not to be missed.
 
The Fifty 7's: Sing, dance, and play along during this interactive music performance. Experience guitar, ukulele, and percussion as you explore many different styles of music.
 
Wildlife Adventures: Through gentle live-animal encounters, kids will discover nature’s artistry while learning how they can help wildlife.

Meet the Author: Alison Humphreys

Meet author and educator Alison Humphreys and discuss her book, 50 Hikes with Kids: Virginia & Maryland, with Delaware, West Virginia and Washington DC. A homeschool parent and licensed psychotherapist, Alison emphasizes the importance of hands-on, child-led learning and unstructured time in nature and its benefits for mental health and education. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing after the event. Each person attending must register prior to the program.*
